April 2016 has been a busy continuing education season for Dr Kata. He hosted a "all on Four" implant presentation at his Byram Office. He also attended a course on Excellence in Endodontics. As a result Dr Kata has encorporated a dental microscope into his practice.
Dr Kata attended the Greater New York Dental convention, November 2015. Amoung the highlights of the courses he attended, was the International Oral Cancer Symposium, "The Science and Practice of Treating Head and Neck Cancer". In all, Dr Kata earned 16 Continuing education hours. The incidence of head and neck cancer is on the rise. As soft tissue examination is part of the routine screening all dentists must practice.
Dr Kata attended the Chicago Midwinter Dental Convention ( February 2014) and earned 18 hours of continuing dental education. Courses included: New concepts in caries detection, lasers in periodontology, new dental ceramics, bone regeneration procedures, and practice management.
Dr Kata attended the Greater New York Dental meeting (November 2013) and Attended classes in Digital Impressions. He earned 5 continuing education credit hours. He also made time to see the new technology on the vendor floor.
Dr Kata attended the convocation at the annual Academy of General Dentistry meeting (June 2013) in Nashville, TN. He was awared the honor of Fellow of the Academy.
In 2012, Dr Kata attended the 40th International Congress of Oral Implantologist symposium in Orlando Florida. The 3 day symposium covered a variety of topics in bone engineering and implant dentistry.
