Introducing High Definition Digital 3-D Impressions

I am happy to introduce digital impressions into my practice.  If you need a crown, bridge, inlay, or porcelain veneer, up til now, you had to have a traditional impression of your teeth. Many patient's used to call it the "tray with the goop". The digital alternative is here. With digital 3-D impressions, a camera takes three dimensional impressions of the prepared teeth/arch, the opposing arch, and the bite.  No more goop! After your scan, a digital .STL file is uploaded direclty to a dental laboratory that mills your crown using the latest CAD/CAM technology.

Not only do the crowns fit as well as "goop" impressions, but the lab time is generally cut in half due to the elimination of one way shipping.
